Interim Procurement Manager - up to £600 per day - 9 months contract
An exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK's biggest multi national retailers as an Interim Procurement Manager looking after end to end procurement cycles, managing suppliers, negotiations, stakeholder management and many more.
Apply business acumen, commercial and Procurement expertise to drive and deliver business improvement opportunities across the business.
Build the right commercial strategic relationships, understand risk allocation between the organisation and supply base.
Maintain strong relationships both internally and externally to maximise delivery of the Procurement GNFR agenda.
Navigate multi-layered, complex stakeholder relationships
Actively drive commercial challenge and rigour, prioritising and managing the expectations of business stakeholders.
You will be responsible for delivering best in class sourcing, category management and planning, negotiation, cost transformation and broader strategies for GNFR Procurement.
Responsible for delivering supplier management, cost transformation and broader strategies for GNFR Procurement
You will work closely with all teams in the Procurement profession including Category Planning & Sourcing, Supplier Management, Procurement Development and the Environment team.
Work closely with business areas aligned to your area of responsibility, this could include Finance, T&C, People, Property, Facilities Customer Service, Marketing, Internal Audit & Risk and Legal.
You will work externally, actively engaging and managing third party suppliers.
Retail consumer items experience (uniforms, till rolls, cleaning chemicals, carry bags)
