Ecological Consultant - Hampshire
Our client has earned a reputation for excellence and client care second to none in the industry. They are an ambitious organisation that is currently expanding its team in the South. They are looking to recruit a number of highly motivated and enthusiastic consultants to work in this specialist ecology team.
The role will be dependant on experience, but is likely to involve supporting the ecology team in undertaking ecological surveys and assisting in the preparation of ecological reports. You will be required to support senior consultants in technical and general project management duties across the country. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across a range of sectors. You will be educated to at least graduate level ideally to MSc level for more senior positions.
• Previous consultancy experience
• Experience of extended phase I habitat surveys, CSH assessments and protected species mitigation
• Great crested newt survey experience
• Bat survey experience
• Assisting in report writing
• Ability to use Arc GIS
• Survey licences required for senior level roles
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and motivated with good communication skills and the ability to fit into a lively and ambitious team. You must be willing to work anti-social hours and away from base where required.
