Job Summary:

Our client is an award winning commercial property consultancy who works for prestigious clientele in both Britain and Ireland. They are looking to hire a Senior Building Surveyor to join either their growing London or Birmingham offices.

This role will suit a candidate who is comfortable with a varied workload in a hardworking environment. The successful candidate will be a Chartered Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a good technical knowledge and relevant experience built up through working in a commercial multi-disciplinary practice. Having project management experience would be highly desirable. You will have excellent communication skills and a good attention to detail with experience producing carefully prepared, accurate work. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, be a proven self-starter, enthusiastic with a can do attitude and the drive and ambition to succeed.

Qualifications / Experience:

* MRICS qualified, with experience in the industry
* Pro-active approach combined with good communication and report writing skills
* Detailed knowledge of both traditional and modern building construction technology and techniques
* Experience of working on commercial properties
