Job Summary:

This is an exciting role working for an innovative consultancy who work at every stage of the construction process, however they have specific specialism at the design and planning stages of domestic, non-domestic and masterplans projects. In this role you would be involved in a wide variety of sustainability & energy responsibilities.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

* Developing Sustainability and Energy Statements for domestic and non-domestic projects for submission to local authorities
* Creating reports relating to Health Impact Asssessment, Socio-Economic Appraisals and Climate Change Adaptation
* Source, process and input information relevant to energy modelling (e.g. IES, TAS, SAP, iSBEM etc.). You will act as a point of contact for the wider design team
* Involved in the delivery process for BREEAM / Code for Sustainable Homes appraisals. You will act as a point of contact with the wider design team (including presence at design team meetings) and responsible for the day-to-day project activities;
* You will also be required to contribute to more ad-hoc consultancy relating to energy & Sustainability for the company

Qualifications / Experience:

* Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably related to science and/or mathematics;
* A minimum of 2/3 years' work experience in this sector
* Established experience with energy modelling eg IES, TAS, SAP, iSBEM
* Working experience in Environmental Assessments BREEAM, CfSH, LEED, WELL
* Good level of awareness of the social, economic and health implications associated with developments
* Good understanding of the UK's planning system and property development
* Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work with Microsoft Excel and Access
