Project Engineer - UK Onshore Wind

A leading global engineering consultancy specialising in technical advisory work are looking to expand their renewable energy team. They offer a complete package of services for Lenders, Developers, Investors, Utilities and Independent Power Producers (IPPs).

The Role

This is a great opportunity for anyone with 3 years+ experience in engineering and technical due diligence on wind assets to further their career working on some of the biggest and most exciting onshore wind projects taking place right now in the UK.

The role will primarily be working on construction management within the onshore wind sector, acting on behalf of clients with the development, construction, and operation of projects. Initially assignments will be in the UK, but travel abroad could be required as the business grows

The role will ideally be based out of the companies Brighton office, however, consideration will also be given to candidates who can work from their London offices.

The Person

Ideally you will have experience of working within a consultancy environment. However, we are also interested in anyone who wants to move into a due diligence consultancy type role.

You'll need to be self-driven and possess great levels of enthusiasm. You have great communication skills, coupled with good project management skills and a good understanding of the financial and economical side of the renewable energy / wind projects. In addition to this, you will need:

Essential skills:

* At least 3 years in a similar role, some of which needs to be on onshore wind projects in the UK
* Successful track record of projects consulting on due diligence
* Degree in Engineering or relevant
* IT literacy, including MS Office
* Excellent team-work and communication skills
* Ability to travel


A competitive base salary £45,000 to £50,000 will be offered to the best candidate.
