Job title: Geo-environmental Consultant
Rate: £25,000 - £32,000
A client focused multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Geo-environmental Consultant to help deliver geoenvironmental solutions on projects within the property, industrial and construction sectors, across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
As a consultant, you will be responsible for completing daily tasks including geo-environmental investigation, sampling and in-situ testing. You will design conceptual models to understand geological/environmental conditions in advance of ground investigation, including the assessment of risks from mine workings, risks from potential contamination sources, review of viable foundation solutions and constraints to development.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Bachelor degree in relevant subject and preferably a secondary qualification i.e. MSc.
* Previous relevant experience required
* Desirable to be a Member of Professional Body preferably working towards Chartered status.
