An exciting opportunity has arisen for a sustainable building design consultant to join our multidisciplinary client. You will join a vibrant team of sustainability specialists and work on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK and Middle East. Excellent opportunities for career development and training are provided at all levels.

You will provide cutting edge sustainable design advice to clients and project teams on a wide range of project types including commercial offices, residential dwellings, masterplans, retail developments and sports stadia. This role involves extensive contact with other groups within the department as well as external contact with people from other areas and other companies.

You will be a committed and driven sustainable design consultant with significant professional consulting experience within a UK building services consultancy or similar. You will have an extensive understanding of building physics, dynamic thermal and computation fluid dynamic modelling. An understanding of current planning legislation, Building Control requirements (Part L etc.) and building certification standards such as BREEAM is essential. You will have a strong ability to work in cross functional teams as well as independently, have excellent communication skills at all levels, and be structured in your working practices. An understanding of building services and the latest renewable energy technology will be essential to the role.
