Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Flood Risk assessor to join a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy as part of the Flood Risk and drainage Assessment team. This leading professional services consultancy partners with organisations to provide integrated solutions to some of the most challenging and cutting-edge projects across the commercial and residential built environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior who has a solid track record in delivery of flood risk assessments and a great knowledge of sustainable drainage systems.

You would take a leading role in managing flood risk assessments and supervising and mentoring. You would be liaising on all levels with clients, regulators and local authorities. To be successful in this busy and challenging role you will be required to demonstrate strong experience in complex modelling and be confident. In addition, you should have experience of UK wide planning guidance coupled with strong communication and influencing skills, experience from consulting environment would be highly advantageous.



*Produce FRAs for development project in accordance with the NPPF, to include outline drainage/SuDS strategies and 1D/2D hydraulic modelling.
*Provide due diligence flood risk advice to landowners and undertake flood studies in the public sector.
*Demonstrative experience of surface water drainage modelling (microdrainage)
*Experience of Project and finance management, managing deliverables and client expectations
*Analyse and communicate opportunities and constraints at development sites.
*Experience producing and reviewing a wide range of FRAs and drainage strategies.
*Project management experience, including the ability to run whole lifecycle projects.
*Experienced at stakeholder relations in a client facing role.
*Leadership and management skills

Capabilities and Qualifications:
*Degree in relevant engineering discipline preferable.
*At least 2 - 5 years' experience preparing FRAs, drainage strategies and hydraulic modelling.
*Professional qualification (in process of would be considered).
