My client seeks a Principal/Associate EIA Coordinator to take a significant role within their team of 7 EIA coordinators.
You will be working with both public and private sector clients on high profile projects within the rail, highways, aviation, power and water sector. You will be project leading as well as coordinating chapter specialists for large scale EIA's
You will be applying your environmental knowledge and expertise whilst collaboratively working with internal and external clients.

Central Leeds

Key responsibilities:

·Project Coordinating EIA's
·Preparing Environmental Statements and other environmental reports
·Advising clients on the UK development planning systems
·Project managing multidisciplinary environmental teams
·Technical report writing
·Client facing on projects and seeking new work
·Project and team management
·Co-ordinating work of engineers/contractors and other environmental technical specialists
·Some line management of junior staff

Ideal Experience:
·A relevant degree in an environmental science.
·8- 10 years plus professional experience with an in depth practical knowledge and experience, ideally of infrastructure projects.
·Excellent knowledge of the UK and EU environmental regulatory framework.
·Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences.
·Experienced at drafting EIAs and managing the preparation of specialist topic chapters.
·Excellent client relationships building skills.
·Experience of working in multi-disciplinary, multicultural international teams would be a distinct advantage.
