An exciting opportunity to join the successful Cambridge Team of a highly regarded national planning and design consultancy as a Graduate Planner.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Town Planner to join their Cambridge team. The successful candidate will join an experienced and friendly planning team working a wide range of planning projects across the region.
You will be involved in a diverse range of prestigious projects in the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors, of various types and scales, including exciting estate regeneration opportunities. You will be expected to help with planning and delivering projects and supporting developing both new and existing client relationships. ·You'll be expected to prepare, submit and negotiate planning applications
·Draft Planning Statements and associated planning reports.
·Assist in developing business and nurturing client relationships
·Assisting with the co-ordination of project teams and project management
·Conducting research and site appraisals on projects for our client base
·Assisting with major applications, attending meetings, public consultation, responses to consultees;
Capabilities and Qualifications:
·MRTPI qualified or working towards it
·Excellent team working skills
·Demonstrable time management skills and the ability to manage your own deadlines
·Have an interest in business development and networking opportunities
·Are committed and have an eye for detail and strong report writing skills
·Are personable and have a strong team capability
·Have excellent organisational and project management skills
·Have strong communication skills, both written and oral
