Our building services client is currently seeking a Principal Acoustic Consultant to join its growing, dynamic team working on projects throughout the UK and Middle-East. This is a superb opportunity to develop your career with a leading consultancy.
The role involves varied work on high-profile projects, from inception through to completion in the commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial sectors. You will be expected to be familiar with managing projects on time and within budget. Coordination is required with other engineers within the company, so an appreciation of the needs and perspectives of other design disciplines is essential. The role will also require experience in people management, mentoring and assisting less experienced staff.
You will have a significant amount of acoustic consultancy experience in the building services, architectural, and/or environmental consultancy arena, and have achieved a Bachelor degree in Acoustics or a closely related subject (e.g. Physics), or the IOA postgraduate Diploma. A valid driving licence is essential, since the role will inevitably involve travel to sites, meetings etc. You must also hold full membership (MIOA) of the Institute of Acoustics.
When applying for this vacancy please ensure that you attach your CV in WORD FORMAT including your full contact details and postal address. Failure to provide this information will significantly hinder our ability to assist you.
