A cutting edge sustainability consultancy are actively looking to take on a sustainability engineer to work within their technical engineering division. The role requires a professional with particularly strong IES skills to focus on operational energy performance working across a portfolio of high profile clients within the commercial real estate sector.
You will be skilled sustainability engineer with a proven track record in IES, with experience carrying out part L compliance and carrying out EPCs to level 5. You will have a strong understanding of building services and building physics and ideally some familiarity with CIBSE TM54.
About the role:
The organisation has developed a tool for modelling operational energy performance using IES, using the tool to identify how buildings are performing in reality in comparison to how they are designed to perform. The role requires an intelligent professional to bridge the gap between the projected performance and actual performance, by creating detailed IES models supported by the building operational data, and then using this model to identify solutions.

* CIBSE LCC and LCEA to Level 5
* Comprehensive experience using IES VE

* Undertaking energy audits
* An understanding of BIM
