Job title: Graduate / Consultant Ecologist
A Global engineering and design consultancy with a well-established UK presence are seeking an ecologist to join their Southampton multidisciplinary team. Having just completed business plan reviews, our client are celebrating a successful year with new growth, so you'll be joining a team in their prime! You'll form part of an experienced team delivering a range of infrastructure and commercial projects to private sector clients.
There will be opportunity to assist your colleagues across the wider environmental team, contributing to assessments in Air Quality, EIA, Flood Risk, Waste, Sustainability and water quality. Primarily though, your role will involve the provision of ecological surveys and reporting, ecological mitigation design and any other related tasks. This set up will allow for you to further develop a variety of skills, and build a successful career within the environmental consultancy sector.

To be a successful consultant, you should enjoy communicating with others - you'll see liaison with regulators, planning authorities, clients, sub-consultants and colleagues forming a large part of your daily role. You''ll need to be self-motivated, confident and affable with the desire to develop as an individual and build successful working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications and experience you'll need;
* Appropriate BSc and CIEEM Membership
* EPS licence (ideally)
* Experience of undertaking survey work and applying field survey methodology
* Full clean UK driving licence.
