We are working with an engineering consultancy looking to expand their acoustic team in their Bristol based office. This is a team that focuses on the larger renewable based projects, such as wind farms, alongside highways, residential developments and industrial complexes. With such a variety of work; it is truly their experience with wind farms that makes them stand out from other consultancies as they have become a market leader in such assignments. As such, a consultant starting here, or simply moving to specialise their career, would be given a prestigious opportunity to work within the niche.
Our client is well founded across the UK with various teams of engineers and consultants that you will find yourself working alongside. Whilst you will be environmentally specialised, your work will ensure there are opportunities to collaborate with the rest of the departments. On top of the training you will receive, this is the best way to gain as much exposure as possible to various methods of working and experience in handling issues from more than just an acoustic perspective.
* A relevant degree at MSc level or higher within Acoustics.
* Previous experience in environmental noise is a bonus.
* Understanding of software such as CadnaA would be beneficial.
