My client is seeking a Contaminated Land/Remediation Engineer to join their friendly team to work on an increasing number of high profile and exciting projects. Candidates from either a contracting or consultancy background will be considered, in this role you will be able to develop expertise in both areas.

This is a key post within a dynamic team and will suit an individual able to demonstrate flexibility, ingenuity and team work. This is an exciting time within my client's business as they are a rapidly expanding company offering bespoke consultancy and contracting services to a wide range of blue chip clients, from specialist to international developers, main contractors, land owners and local authorities.

Due to their structure and ethos, they are not tied down by time consuming and distracting red tape such as that imposed by multi-layered consultancies, and so allowing you to focus on achieving the client's goals, within the timescales and on budget. The successful candidate would also be encouraged to develop and grow their expertise in direction to suit your strengths.

In this key role you will provide support and technical input on a wide-ranging multi-disciplinary contracting and consultancy projects. This is an office and site based job and will include: management of small projects; carrying out investigations and remediation projects; production of reports, method statements and risk assessments; and engineering on live contracts.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years' experience, a relevant degree and post graduate experience; up-to-date knowledge of contamination risk assessment, waste classification, investigation and remediation techniques; will have or is working towards Chartership status; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be willing to work away from home for short periods.
