I am working with a Central London client who is looking for 2 Structural Engineers to join on a contract basis.
They are working alongside a large multi-disciplinary consultancy on a HS2 project. Their Structural Engineering team is providing structural design for some of the HS2 Stations. This is a long term project, however you will also get the opportunity to work across some of their other projects in the commercial, sports and leisure sectors in the UK and Internationally.
* They are ideally looking for one candidate with approximately 3 or 4 years post-graduate experience and one candidate who is chartered or close to chartered
* Experience working on the design of rail stations previously would be a benefit, however is not a prerequisite
* You must have experience working for a consultancy previously, working on new build projects
* You must have experience of using Tekla Tedds and AutoCAD
For the more senior position, they are looking to pay between £35-40ph DOE.
For the more junior position, they are looking to pay between £27-32ph DOE.
A lot of their current staff are contractors and they don't like setting minimum terms on their roles as they want their contractors to stay as long as they would like. Many of the contractors have worked there for years on end and the company always offers the option of turning permanent for those who are interested in that.
They would also consider suitable candidates on a permanent basis, however the preference is for contract staff.
They are looking for people to interview and start ASAP!
