One of the UK's leading global consultancy firms is seeking a dynamic Technical Director to integrate into their land quality team, providing services across engineering geology, land contamination and remediation. Do you want to be part of a team who push the boundaries when implementing innovative remediation methods, cutting-edge conceptualisations and high resolution site investigations on multiple award-winning projects? Role & Company:

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in a team delivering a range of investigation, assessment and remediation services in both the public and private sectors. You will be managing an array of nationwide geo-environmental remediation projects for property developments, with a focus on regeneration schemes and the potential for overseas work.

During your day to day you will be combining your technical expertise and entrepreneurial spark to manage and support the senior team members and proactively promote the company within the industry. To be successful in post you will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and personable, using your line management experience to hit the ground running and develop strong working relationships with fellow team members whilst encouraging strategic internal and external growth of the business.

Qualifications & Experience:

* A solid background in geological, geoscientific and/or civil engineering areas
* A thorough understanding of geo-environmental remediation and site investigations
* Experience of line management and business development duties
* Knowledge of UK legislation, regulations and health and safety policies
* Strong communication skills and ability to build good working relationships
* Chartered with a relevant professional body
* Full UK drivers licence
