One of the UK's leading consultancy's Land Management team is seeking a Land/ Environmental Management Consultant to join their team in the Oxfordshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a wide range of projects and combine sound environmental knowledge, particularly within water management, with cohesive advice to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Role & Company:

Working as a Land/ Environmental Management consultant you will join an inclusive team of soil and water engineers, ecologists, archaeologists and planners.

Your day to day will see a 70/30 split between office based and site investigation work on nationwide rail projects and river/canal developments. Your brief will be to manage and deliver land and water management, ecology, woodland and agricultural contracts, with the support of more senior team members. Your role will be varied and no 2 days will be the same! Typical activites might include;

* Obtaining environmental consents and permits
* Preparing Environment Management Plans and Waste Management Plans
* managing subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects.
* Project management including preparing project method statements, health and safety and environmental risk assessments
* Supervising site works

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with an environmental and water management background with an understanding of ecological mitigation projects who want to develop their career and grow with a well-established company.

Qualifications & Experience:

* BSc in a relevant scientific or environmental background
* Knowledge of water management and flood risk assessments
* Good understanding of land and soil management and environmental issues
* Experience with the application process of environmental consents from legislative bodies
* Excellent communication skills with experience with working contractors
* Full UK drivers licence
