An ecological consultancy is looking to expand their team with a talented Arboricultural Consultant in their Worcestershire office. This opportunity would suit a self-motivated individual who can hit the ground running in undertaking arb surveys and, as you develop in the role, have the desire to grow the arboricultural division.

Role & Company:

You'll be joining a proactive consultancy delivering diverse projects across the country, from town planning developments and highway schemes to habitat and environmental management plans. There is plenty to get stuck into, with a healthy mix of field and office based work.

During your day to day you will be executing tree surveys for planning applications, arboriculture impact assessments, tree protection planning and collaborating with your fellow in-house ecologists to undertake tree climbing inspections for protected species.

You'll be managing your own time and with the help of Directors, work to develop your commercial awareness and promote your services to new and existing clients. Qualifications & Experience:

* Experience of undertaking tree surveys to BS 5837 standards
* Experience in delivering Arboricultural reports
* Proficiency in tree and key fungal species identification
* Confidence in planning and managing projects
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong understanding of GIS data collection and MS office suite.
* Full UK drivers licence
