Strategic planning specialist required to join an established team based in Sheffield within this leading independent consultancy. My client has already achieved a considerable reputation in this field and is looking to further build on their success by appointing a Senior/Associate Planner.

Working with teams across the business as well as direct for external clients you will be providing key strategic planning advice and research as well as further promoting the service.

You will be involved in a wide range of exciting projects, with significant input on delivering high quality work to meet client expectations and promote the business.
You will provide support on areas such as housing demand and need including Strategic Housing Market Assessments, Local Affordable Housing Needs Surveys, Housing Supply including 5-year housing land supply assessments, Employment land demand and supply, Retail assessments and retail impact statements, Sustainability Appraisal, Green Belt Reviews, Public Sector commissions, Attendance at Local Plan Hearings, Expert Witness at Planning Inquiries, Bespoke research commissions.

Central Sheffield

Capabilities & Qualifications
*MRTPI Qualified Town Planner
*Public and or Private sector experience considered
*Demonstrative planning experience ideally upwards of 5 years
*Strong understanding of local and national planning policy
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*A strong team capability
*Full UK driving licence
