As the head of commercial services you will lead a new service line which is looking to grow to a headcount of 200 over the next 5 years. The successful candidate will oversee and grow the team of quantity surveyors, commercial managers and supply chain managers to deliver consultancy services to help customers deliver their capital programmes and projects.
This role will include the delivery of major projects, the management of an expanding team and the development of blue chip clients across the UK. The role has a nationwide remit, so the successful candidate could be based in any of our client's offices in the country - ideally London, Bristol, Reading or Birmingham.
You will recognised at industry level in pre and post-contract commercial activities and demonstrable experience as active participant in professional bodies. Experience in the development of technical standards, techniques and processes is also essential, as is a proven track record in the successful delivery of infrastructure projects or programmes from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate witll be MCIOB or MRICS with a strong track record in management and client development.
