I am currently working with an NCE Top 100 Engineering firm who are looking for a new Associate to join their West London office. I met with ones of the Directors to discuss the role and why someone would be interested in joining them. They are a company which has experienced significant growth over the last year, having a 55% increase in fees gained from projects. This is due to their long standing relationships with some of the UK's leading developers.
They work on large residential developments (with some project being valued at over £250m). They usually work on all phases of these projects hence our client is looking for an Associate to help them keep up with this large workload. Due to their very healthy pipeline, unlike some roles at this level, there will not be a heavy focus on winning work or bringing it with you.
- The ideal candidate would be a Chartered Structural Engineer who is very competent on a technical and managerial level. You will have worked on residential projects previously and have the ambition to progress within the company
- Career prospects are the key selling point with this company. They have a programme in place to help support future leaders and they are looking for this individual to eventually lead the West London office and to be a Board Director/Partner
- You need to be someone who will come across well infront of their clients, but also can fit in and work with a young team of engineers and technicians
- In this role you will be required to help with technical questions from fellow engineers
They are looking to pay up to £65k plus a competitive package for the right candidate.
