The Role

The Site Service Technician is responsible for the day to day maintenance and servicing activities at the designated wind farm site.

Duties and responsibilities associated with the role include:

Execution of all site servicing and maintenance activities ensuring required standard of service is achieved and maintained whilst maximising the operational output of the site.
Keep up to date on all technical matters relating to their role and the site turbine technology.
To assist the Site Manager and Lead Technician to ensure NPS servicing achieves excellent levels of performance
Ensuring that all activities are carried out to the highest quality within NPS processes and regulations.
Abide by all statutory and Company regulations and policies relating to Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety including Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
On call and weekend work.
The post-holder will be required to undertake such duties as may reasonably be expected. All members of staff are expected to be professional, co-operative and flexible within the needs of the post, the department and the Company.
Duties of the post could vary from time to time as a result of new legislation, changes in technology or policy. In this event, appropriate training will be provided.



Educated to HNC/HND level as a minimum in Mechanical/Hydraulic or Electrical Engineering /and or relevant experience
Must demonstrate previous experience working with wind turbine generators
Excellent communicator across all levels in both written and verbal format
Detail orientated with a drive to continuously improve standards and performance
You will be able to work effectively as part of a team but equally show strong initiative, ability and confidence to make decisions.


Educated to degree level in Mechanical/Hydraulic or Electrical Engineering
Competent with Wind Turbine Safety Rules (Ver3)
