Offshore Renewables - Senior Contract Manager, Central London

A significant role within the Iberdrola Global Offshore business based in our London Office, this role will assist in the negotiation and management of the contracts within the O&M Offshore business. This role will include working closely with teams from the Construction, Operations, Legal, Insurance, Financial and Group Purchasing teams to ensure contracts are managed effectively.

Belonging to the O&M Services Team and Reporting to the Lead Contract Manager the Senior Contract Manager will assist in defining contracting strategies and plans, tendering, negotiating and (in some cases) managing multi-million offshore Service contracts. This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing and creating procedures, to support site functions. In addition, the individual will manage contractual & commercial risks, claims and defects and seek out opportunities to optimise and drive the performance of the service supplier contracts.

You will be working as part of a global business with activities in many countries across Europe and the rest of the world. The position may require frequent travel to various locations in the UK and overseas. The role requires the individual to manage multi-disciplinary teams and the individual should be prepared to manage teams working at different project locations.

You will be degree qualified, have experience in commercial and contractual aspects of engineering with a proven ability to manage the negotiation of multi-contracts in competing timescales in Offshore Wind; and have the flexibility to travel regularly to attend meetings and work at different project sites in a number of countries thought northern Europe and USA, particularly Germany, France, Denmark, Spain and England.
