A real estate and infrastructure leader is looking to take on an acoustic consultant to join their expanding noise team. Using your past experience in an established consultancy, you will be working on providing acoustic design advice for a range of projects, including drafting technical reports for architectural plans as well as undertaking computer modelling and data management.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary company, acting as the go to contact with engineers, consultants, architects and public bodies. Their portfolio of projects are largely major national infrastructure projects including HS2 and Defence National Rehabilitation centre.
Role & Company:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a variety of tasks including collecting and collating quantitative data including noise and vibration measurements and sound insulation tests, drafting technical reports and meeting and presenting these to clients. The role will be predominately office based, however there will be some on-site responsibilities within London and the South East.
This individual will be looking to develop the team's client base as well as their own professional experiences, including acoustic related academic qualifications. Qualifications & Experience:
* Relevant degree (or equivalent) in acoustics
* Associate or Corporate member of Institute of Acoustics
* Experience with providing acoustic design advice
* Project experience in both building acoustics and environmental noise
* Experience of computer modelling using software packages such as CadnaA, NoiseMap, Insul, CATT and EASE
* UK Driving license
