Highly successful, young and ambitious soil remediation business requires an Environmental Manager with a strong permitting background to join their expanding team.
My client is a young, but well-established firm with exciting plans for continued growth going forward. Due to a number of significant project wins and an identified gap in the market, they are seeking an ambitious individual to join their existing team (currently 13 staff).

In this dynamic role you will be responsible for defining, organising and managing permits for a number of soil treatment centres across the region. You will be responsible for identifying all required permit documents and associated constraints for various projects, identifying and mitigating the risks associated with these activities.
You will liaise with a variety of clients and stakeholders throughout the process as well as supporting on bids and tenders. You will be responsible for gathering all relevant information and presenting this to the relevant parties.
With the support of the Directors and colleagues, you will oversee the permitting process from start to finish. In addition to this role there will be scope for additional responsibilities and your remit will develop according to your strengths and ambitions
Outskirts of Bristol
• degree qualified in relevant subject
• upwards of 3 years relevant industry experience
• track record in environmental permitting including landfill and waste transfer stations
• experience of working for, or working with regulators
• team player
• proven Project Manager
• excellent written and verbal communication
• highly IT literate
• highly organised
