Experienced Heritage Consultant required to join an established team within this prestigious International Consultancy. The role offers the option to be home-based with a minimum of 2 days a week working in Solihull.

My client is one of the UK’s leading consultancy firms, comprising of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists. You will be working with a creative, innovative, pragmatic and self-motivated team. This opportunity offers the chance to work across a wide range of significant infrastructure projects such as HS2, as well as involvement in number of key frameworks .
Reporting directly to the Director of the Heritage team, you will deliver archaeological and cultural heritage advice assessment and mitigation design and management across a broad range of sectors. You will be involved in some of the UK's most prestigious and complex infrastructure schemes up and down the country including road, rail, infrastructure, housing and energy.
You will be part of a team of highly regarded industry practitioners which forms part of the wider environmental and sustainability team-in total over 30 staff. My client has a range of prestigious projects across the UK and the role will require occasional travel to other offices and sites.

You will work from my client’s Solihull office a minimum of 2 days a week, but should you wish could work up to 3 days a week from home.

Experience Required
• Confident user of GIS (ArcGIS preferred) and dataset manipulation
• Experience of working on large scale multi-disciplinary projects
• Experience of contributing to/designing archaeological mitigation
• Experience of undertaking consultation with Consultees such as, Local Planning Authority Archaeologists and Conservation Officers

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Archaeology or related subject or the equivalent of
• Membership (ACIfA minimum) of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists
