From our iconic Guildhall headquarters, to Tower Bridge and the Barbican, the City of London Corporation manages many sites of historical, political and strategic importance, as well as portfolio of high-value commercial properties. With a long-term target of reducing energy consumption by 40% by 2026 from the 2008-09 levels, we have the potential to make a big impact on the UK’s overall sustainability. We have a commitment both to measuring our energy performance with integrity and to finding new and innovative ways to meet our targets.

By identifying energy performance and savings opportunities solutions, your work will be pivotal in helping us achieve our carbon reduction and sustainability targets.
With experience of working in an energy consultancy or advisory environment, you’ll have a good knowledge of the energy market-place, including energy procurement, and be familiar with value-driven energy solutions. You’ll have a degree in applied sciences or equivalent in an energy-related discipline and strong experience in energy analytics, including the use of energy management software (ideally SystemsLink). Well-honed communication skills, including consultative and report-writing abilities, are essential.
