A global real estate investment firm are looking to appoint an ESG analyst, to work in a pan-European role on a diverse portfolio of real estate investments.
Working at both a portfolio and asset level, the role requires an ESG Analyst to coordinate ESG policies for the organisation's investment mandates across a diverse real estate investment portfolio, to effectively implement ESG initiatives. You will also be responsible for ensuring that assets and portfolios are achieving ESG performance goals.
About the role:
You will be responsible for helping to prepare a variety of European real estate investment mandates, for GRESB submission, considering ESG factors at an asset and portfolio level. This will involve writing, reviewing and amending ESG policies for assets within each portfolio. The role will also involve working with investors, answering queries and providing support on ESG and wider sustainability matters.
You will be an experienced analyst, with a robust understanding of ESG within the commercial real estate sector. You will have a strong theoretical understanding of ESG and a practical understanding of the real estate industry, and how ESG is implemented in this context. You will be analytically minded, but delivery orientated, capable of engaging with a variety of different stakeholders to deliver results.
You will have a strong understanding of ESG portfolio management, with the ability to develop, implement and expand ESG strategies across various investment mandates. You will also have strong ESG reporting experience, with the ability to both prepare required reporting, and co-ordinate assurance work.
