Principal / Associate Ecologist

We have partnered exclusively with a leading multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy, who are looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal or Associate Ecologist to support the growth of their service line in London and the South East of England.

Qualifications & Experience:

This position requires someone who is comfortable communicating with external partners and has a proven track record of business development. They are looking for people who are confident with undertaking the following:

* Ascertaining new project opportunities and spearheading business development initiatives.
* Managing tender bids and pricing works.
* Project Managing a number of schemes at any one time
* Carrying out fieldwork and desk based responsibilities
* Managing and mentoring more junior colleagues and contributing to training and development within the division.

As a Principal or Associate Ecologist you will split your time between project delivery and project management across sectors including; new construction and infrastructure developments, regeneration masterplans and historic sites, among other smaller scale schemes.

While ecologists at all levels in the business still carry out surveys as part of their role, you will also organise and attend networking events to nurture new and existing relationships with clients in order bring in new business and increase exposure in the region.
